Founded in 1935, Temperature Equipment Corporation (TEC) is the exclusive distributor of Carrier, Bryant and Payne for Chicagoland, Northwest Indiana and Southwest Michigan and is currently the largest privately owned Carrier distributor in the United States. We also serve the Milwaukee area with our Commercial, Parts & Supplies and HVAC Solutions product offerings. Built on the vision and integrity of former owner and CEO Frank A. Mungo, TEC’s vision and continued commitment to its customers is now carried on through the leadership of CEO and President, R.F. “Skip” Mungo. Today, we’re proud to provide the most comprehensive HVAC offering thoughout Chicagoland and its surrounding areas.

We also offer a comprehensive offering up of parts & supplies including Carrier, Bryant and Payne Factory Authorized Parts, refrigeration parts, and a full line of after market parts. In addition, our HVAC Solutions division offers Hydronics, Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF), Energy Recovery Ventilators (ERV’s), Make Up Air Units, Solar, Geothermal, IAQ and control solutions and many other systems and products to meet your needs.

TEC’s distribution territory encompasses all of Chicagoland, Southwest Michigan and Northwest Indiana with locations east to South Bend, Indiana and northwest to Rockford, Illinois. In addition, our Milwaukee area location offers Commercial and HVAC Solutions Products as well as Parts & Supplies.
