Jan. 28, 2008 - Carrier Corp. has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Clinton Climate Initiative (CCI) to provide its energy efficient, non-ozone depleting water-cooled chillers to qualified C40 cities and private building owners in the C40, which includes Chicago. (read more)

Dec. 18, 2007 - To reduce the incidence of a commonly overlooked code violation and ensure the safety of end users of their products, Air Products and Controls (APC) has launched an educational campaign to raise awareness of code-driven requirements for air sampling tube length in duct smoke detectors. Sept. 19, 2007 - The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) recently honored Carrier with its coveted Best-of-the-Best Stratospheric Ozone Protection award in recognition of the company’s achievements in helping restore the Earth’s protective ozone layer.
